The idea of painting on a drum skin to me is very intriguing, and not something that you see a lot of in an artist environment. Its the idea that I can relate to with Julian Dashper's work, but I would go in a different direction to his execution. While I can appreciate the work, I consider the simple circles on a circle skin to be very boring, although that said I don't consider my version to have developed the idea much as of yet - but I plan to in the near future, as I have luckily acquired several new, clean, and unused drum skins that would be perfect.
